Ming Hla Su (Affiliated High School)

Ming Hla Su ist eine Oberstufen-Schule mit zehn Klassen (1.-10. Stufe) und Kindergarten. Die Schule verfügt über vier Gebäude, davon zwei temporäre und äusserst notdürftige Bauten mit Dächern aus Stroh und Wellblech, die allfälligen Stürmen und Fluten nicht standhalten würden. Die Schule benötigt neue Gebäude mit mindestens fünf weiteren Klassenzimmern. Auch die sanitären Anlagen sind mangelhaft: So verfügt die Schule über lediglich vier Toiletten (für fast 500 Kinder und Lehrer) und es gibt keinen Regenwasser-Tank um die Schule mit ausreichend Wasser zu versorgen.

School building constructed by 600Kids was successfully finished and official inauguration was held at Min Hla Su High School. Cabinet members, departmental officials, 600Kids team and school community participated in ceremony. It was a remarkable achievement towards better school infrastructure from this support of 3 classrooms building to such a high school with about 500 students.

The construction of school building has been started in Min Hla Su and construction work is expected to finalize in June when the school reopens and new classrooms are ready at the beginning of upcoming academic year. The building is reinforced concrete structure and size of building is 1800 sqft with 3 classrooms.
