Ma Seine (Post Primary School)

Ma Seine ist eine Sekundarstufen-Schule mit sieben Klassen (1.-7. Stufe) und Kindergarten. Die Schule verfügt über zwei Gebäude, eines davon wurde bereits durch 600Kids.org errichtet. Doch die Arbeit hier ist noch nicht getan: Die sanitären Anlagen sind mangelhaft und müssen erneuert werden, ausserdem gilt es beschädigtes Schulmobiliar zu reparieren oder zu ersetzen. Zudem benötigt der Schul-Campus dringend neue Gehwege.

News. November 2019 - New teachers-room and school library for Ma Seine

At the beginning of November, the construction of a new building in Ma Seine was also initiated. In order to provide teachers with a place where they can prepare in peace, an office is planned, which will be built right next to the school. A small school library is also set up in the same building.

School health activity in cooperation with the Health department was continued in the schools Ma Seine and Thit To Chaung. This included Health education about personal hygiene to prevent against communicable diseases and medical staffs carrying out medical examination for schoolchildren and medication for those who need treatment. Health education session encompasses on current out-breaking diseases such as dengue fever and seasonal influenza.

In August, nutrition programme which is one of the components of school health care was also conducted in partner schools. Nutrition awareness education and school feeding were supported to schoolchildren at the primary level classes. Parents involved in cooking local nutritious food to serve children at schools.
